In the mid 90’s Oliver Simmons decided to set up a charitable account in memory of his brother Nicholas Simmons.

Over the last 10 years it has donated thousands of pounds to good causes. The charitable giving has concentrated on the following:

  1. Helping those with severe learning disabilities.
  2. Leukaemia Research and Post Medical Care.
  3. Holocaust Education & World-Jewry.
  4. The Arts & Education.

The goal over the next ten years is to officially set up “The Nicholas Simmons Charitable Trust” and continue to contribute to those areas.

The aim is also to have enough resources to fund a grant to help towards the education of a “less privileged but gifted child” within the borough of Lewisham at one of the leading learning institutions.
